Director's Message
The last four years saw us basking in the sunshine of booming economies and financial markets. Markets were on a roll, jobs were aplenty and there was a general feeling of euphoria prevailing everywhere.

However, this year has given us some rude shocks. The tumble of the stock markets, the crude oil crisis and most recently, the debacle of American financial giants has created a bleak scenario.

In spite of these dreary circumstances, as the director of a B-school, surprisingly, I do not harbor any reservations about our students' career prospects. My confidence in our students stems from my confidence in our processes.

The rigorous attention to academic excellence, the stringent quality checks in the form of quizzes, assignments, projects and internal examinations ensure that students are sound in their conceptual knowledge.

The unparalleled focus on personality development by way of weekly business quizzes, group discussions, presentations on contemporary issues, in-house publication of daily newsletters and a monthly wall magazine, regular workshops and seminars certainly make our students all-rounders in their approach. Our concentration on soft skills training polishes them and gives them the confidence to approach any task assigned to them.

Basically, we train our students to be excellent in execution and operations – which is what our recruiters demand. By catering exactly to the needs of industry, we have been able to achieve success in our placement in the past years and, I am sure, will continue to do so in the future too.

I welcome all our recruiters to our placement process and assure you that your search for the perfect front-line performer will end at NRIBM.
