GUJARAT LAW SOCIETY
83 years is quite a long time for any venture to get into the decline phase of its life cycle; but, having passed through the same amount of time Gujarat Law Society is still young and keen to launch newer and more innovative ventures to serve to the educational requirements of the students of the state. This exuberance of the society is reflected in the fact that it has more than 30,000 students from across the country studying in various disciplines offered by the 38 colleges and schools running under its umbrella. It is quite apt then that the esteemed educational body is considered to be a synonym to quality education since 1927.

The society had the privilege of deriving inspiration from and being founded by such great visionaries as Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Sheth Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai and Shri Ganesh Mavlankar. Over the years, GLS has received services from some illustrious philanthropists and activists who have supported the society either financially or otherwise.

The society today is being governed and managed by six members who are on the governing council of the society and manage the various institutions under GLS in the light of the vision that was created by its founding fathers. The alumni of the institute are spread across the globe holding reputable positions in various companies and thus making GLS a name to reckon with not only in the country but in the world.
