GLS University’s Faculty of Management had organised a guest session of Dr. Adam Fenech for the students of MBA, PGDM and I-MBA Programmes on 11th November, 2017. Dr.Fenech has worked extensively in climate change since 1988, including as a member of the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. He has edited seven books on climate change over the past seven years, most recently as editor of the international journal on Climate Impacts and Adaptation Science. He has taught at the University of Toronto since 1998, and lectures regularly at universities across Canada and around the world. He joined the University of Prince Edward Island as Director of the Climate Research Unit.Previously, Adam also worked as a Senior Climatologist with Environment Canada. In the session, he discussed about how climatic changes are affecting the environment and geographies. He also talked about the climatic changes happening in Ahmedabad city. Overall, it was an interactive session where students got an opportunity to hear Dr. Adam’s experiences and to get the answers of their questions.
