International Immersion Programme-2020
GLS University aims to develop globally aware graduates with internationally competitive skills well-matched to the international jobs and assignments of today and future. The prime focus to bring internationalisation will be by fostering globally connected research and scholarship.
At present, the University has entered into 17 foreign collaborations with leading academic institutions from across the globe. Global mentors and start-ups will be invited through these channels to interact with the University’s incubator. There are formal and informal arrangements with eight Foreign Universities / Colleges for Student-Exchange Programme, Organizing Conferences, Joint Research & Visiting Faculty Arrangements.

Anti-Ragging
Guidelines for Anti Ragging
- any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student;
- indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student;
- asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student;
- any act by a senior student that prevents, disrupts or disturbs the regular academic activity of any other student or a fresher;
- exploiting the services of a fresher or any other student for completing the academic tasks assigned to an individual or a group of students.
- any act of financial extortion or forceful expenditure burden put on a fresher or any other student by students;
- any act of physical abuse including all variants of it: sexual abuse, homosexual assaults, stripping, forcing obscene and lewd acts, gestures, causing bodily harm or any other danger to health or person;
- any act or abuse by spoken words, emails, posts, public insults which would also include deriving perverted pleasure, vicarious or sadistic thrill from actively or passively participating in the discomfiture to fresher or any other student;
- any act that affects the mental health and self-confidence of a fresher or any other student with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student.
Acts constitute as Ragging:
Ragging constitutes one or more of any of the following acts:
- Institute tries to create cohesive environment between the senior and junior students, by organizing some sports and cultural activities, with the purpose of smooth introduction of new students with existing one.
- Apart from Anti ragging committee institute has their Anti ragging squad, together they try to create healthy environment for students. Time to time they take surprise visit in premises of campus to check that no incidence of ragging take place.
- Any student who is victim of ragging can directly contact any of the anti-ragging committee members. For this purpose - Names and contact detail of all members of anti-ragging committee are displayed on college notice boards.
- Institute has obtained an affidavit from every student, parent/ guardian regarding anti-ragging.
Preventive Measures:
Anti-Ragging Committee ensures the regulatory requirements provided by AICTE are fulfilled by the institute.
- Cancellation of admission
- Suspension from attending classes
- Withholding/withdrawing scholarship/fellowship and other benefits
- Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation process Withholding results
- Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
- Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution.
- Collective punishment: when the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to collective punishment as a deterrent to ensure community pressure on the potential raggers.
Actions to be taken against students indulged in ragging:
Depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established the possible punishments for those found guilty of ragging at the institution level shall be any one or any combination of the following:-

Women Development Cell
Women Development Cell, Faculty of Management organizes seminars and workshops regularly to sensitize the students towards various aspects like gender equality, mental health and emotional well-being, stress management at workplace, etc.
To ensure that all females have access to the lifesaving tools to prevent Cervical cancer, Women Development Cell, Faculty of Management, had organised as expert session on "Awareness on Cervical Cancer" on 7th March ,2024, for all female staff and students. Dr Mitali Vasavada graced occasion and gave her expert opinions about cervical cancer, talked about symptoms and preventions. Dr Mitali Vasavada is MBBS, DGO, MRCOG(UK), DMIS (Germany). She is celebrity gynaecologist Endoscopic surgeon, high risk and natural birthing expert She performed over 8000 major and minor procedures in India and Internationally. she is visiting Sr. consultant at Apollo, Shalby and Wings Hospital. More than 100 students have taken benefit of expert advices of Dr Mitali Vasavada.

Grievance Redressal Cell
NRIBM has a Students' Grievance Redressal Cell. (In order to ensure transparency , in admissions and with paramount objective of preventing unfair practices and to provide a mechanism to innocent students for redressal of thier grievances , In exercise of the power conferred under clause 1 of section 23 of the All India Council for Technical education, Act 1987.)The functions of the cell are to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit. The Grievance Redressal cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment.

Objective:-
A Grievance Redressal Cell has been constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the Students of the College with the following objectives:
- Upholding the dignity of the College by ensuring strike free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial Student-Student relationship and Student-teacher relationship etc.
- Encouraging the Students to express their grievances / problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
- Making admission contrary to merit determined in accordance with the declared admission policy of the institute..
- Irregularity in the admission process adopted by the institute.
- Refusing admission in accordance with the declared admission policy of the institute.
- Breach the policy for reservation in admission as may be applicable.
- Delay in conduct of examinations or declaration of results beyond that specified in the academic calendar.
- On provision of student amenities as may have been promised or required to be provided.
- Denial of quality education as promised at the time of admission or required to be provided.

Talentino
With the objective of providing a platform to explore the latent talent of the students, every year institute organizes "Talentino", the annual cultural festival. These activities exist to complement the academic curriculum and to enhance the student's educational experience as Education cannot happen just in classroom—it must go beyond the walls of the classroom.
Over the years, Talentino has emerged as most effective extracurricular platform to enhance management and organization skills of students in a pleasant way. Institute has found some of extraordinary talents during the Talentino who stands out among the group.
This year Talentino was organised on 22nd March, 2016 at Tagore Hall. More than 100 participants showcased their performances. The event was judged by Dhwani Gautam, Gujarati Film Director; Heena Achra, Model & Janki Bodiwala, Gujarati Film Actress.
