Admissions
The admission to the MBA programme is through CMAT examination followed by the centralized admission process through the Government of Gujarat appointed admission committee.
The application pack for admission is available at the institute office and can be collected personally. Alternatively, it can be downloaded online by clicking here The institute usually has reserved seats for management quota and NRI category as per government norms. Information on these seats can be received by visiting the institute personally.

Events
Talentino
“Talentino”, The Culfest, is an attempt to provide a platform to explore the latent talent of the students. The name “Talentino” evolved from the gleeful festival Tomatino and varied Talents amongst students of GLS Management Programmes. Activities of Talentino include Dance, Drama, Singing, Fashion Show etc.
Sankalan
Sankalan is an Alumni Meet organized by institute every year. The institute has a strong network of over 1000 alumni members with whom it is in regular touch through various activities and events. GLS STAMP (Student Teacher Association of Management Program) organizes Sankalan - a reunion of alumni every year with the purpose of confluence between the past & future talent.
PRADAN
GLS MBA programme initiated noble activity called PRADAAN where students distributed old cloths, news papers, stationeries etc to the needy and underprivileged people as a part its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity. The students have visited with SAVERA, Blind People Association, and Charity Shop etc.
Pahel
Pahel started with a dream to do something for those kids who are special in some or other way, but don’t get an opportunity to prove. The underprivileged and the mentally challenged kids are given an opportunity to display their talents in music, dance and allied areas. This event was introduced by the students of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at N R Institute of Business Management organized as a practice and implementation of the lessons they had learnt during their classes of Corporate Social Responsibilities.
Management Quiz
Management Quiz covers topics on General management, Marketing, Advertising, HRM, Finance & Capital markets, Business events and Personalities in the news. The basic objective of arranging management quiz is to assess and review awareness level of core management issues as well as current global developments. It creates an environment of healthy competition and develops skills like lateral thinking, teamwork, decision making and time management.
Group Discussions
It is a methodology used to gauge whether the student has organizationally desired personality traits and/or skills and in the process of polishing those desirable skills. The reason why the institute focuses on students going through series of Group discussions and interviews throughout the year is to gauge how well the student shall fit in the corporate world. The evaluation is done by the committee coordinators based on the discussions. A report is prepared on analyzing the facts at the end of the discussion.
Rewarding Merit
In order to further the mission of excellence in education, the institute awards gold medals to students for academic achievements. The Gujarat Law Society has instituted the Indravadan M Nanavati Memorial Gold Medal for Best Performance in Marketing Management and Navnitlal Ranchhodlal Memorial Gold Medal for Best Performance in Financial Management.
