Blood Donation Camp 2016

The goal of GLS is not only to groom managers of tomorrow, but also to sensitize students towards the needs of society. GLS thus, aims to make their students, socially responsible citizens. On this path, GLS organizes Blood Donation Camp every year in association with Indian Red Cross Society. This year it was organized on 14th September, 2016 by Faculty of Management for MBA, PGDM & I-MBA courses. GLS proudly shares that students had extended their full co-operation in conducting this noble campaign and had volunteered to donate a total of 86 units of blood.
Tree Plantation @ Campus

Considering the global warming issue rising across the world, GLS University’s Faculty of Management had organized a tree plantation drive on 10th August, 2016. The cause was clubbed with the ‘We Can’ initiative of I-MBA programme. The students and faculties planted 400 saplings in GLS campus and took the responsibility to look after and nourish them on regular basis.
Pahel 2016

PAHEL was introduced by the students as a practice and implementation of the lessons they had learnt during their classes of Corporate Social Responsibilities. The students of PGDM have been visiting NGOs to meet the children and help them prepare for the competitions as well. PAHEL 2016 was organized on 16th March 2016 in the Evening. The judges of the event were: RJ Vashishth from Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM and Mr. Ravi Meena –an actor, he was part the movie Chhelo Divas. Around 150 children who are mentally or physically challenged or are specially abled, between the age group of 7 to 18 years, from 12 different NGOs, showcased their talents in various arts. The event was comprise of 16 performances by the kids.
Talentino 2016

With the objective of providing a platform to explore the latent talent of the students, every year institute organizes "Talentino", the annual cultural festival. These activities exist to complement the academic curriculum and to enhance the student's educational experience as Education cannot happen just in classroom—it must go beyond the walls of the classroom. Over the years, Talentino has emerged as most effective extracurricular platform to enhance management and organization skills of students in a pleasant way. Institute has found some of extraordinary talents through Talentino, who stand out among the group.
Evolve 2016

3) With the changing times, the face of the corporate world is also changing, wherein the need-of- the-hour is to have state-of- the-art professionals who are agile enough to meet the growing demands of the industry.‘Evolve’ was set up to meet the growing needs for soft skills among professionals.For the Academic Year 2016-17, ‘Evolve’ focused on developing soft skills of the II year MBA students by conducting workshops on Body Language & Grooming, Personality Development, Resume Writing, Group Discussions, Interviews. Participants showed great enthusiasm and were eager to apply their newly acquired skills into the corporate world.
