International Conference on Advances in Theory, Research & Practices in Management (GLSU-ATRPM )

A prestigious gathering of brilliant minds from around the globe, dedicated to advancing the frontiers of knowledge in Management. Hosted by Faculty of Management, GLS University, this conference showcased groundbreaking research and fostered invaluable collaborations among leading experts in the field. Dr. Hitesh Ruparel, Dean, Faculty of Management set the tone of the conference with his inaugural address.
The conference witnessed the presence of Mr. Mehul Pandya Managing Director & CEO, Care Ratings Limited and Prof. Saral Mukherjee, Associate Professor Indian Institute of Management- Ahmedabad as keynote speakers.
The conference, featured a diverse array of presentations, offering insights into the latest developments and trends shaping the future of Technology in Management. Attendees had the opportunity to delve into a wide range of topics, including Fintech, Marketing, HR and Disruptive Strategies, presented by esteemed researchers and thought leaders. From innovative technologies to novel methodologies, these discoveries have the potential to address some of the most pressing challenges facing society today.

GLS University aims to develop globally aware graduates with internationally competitive skills well-matched to the international jobs and assignments of today and future. The prime focus to bring internationalisation will be by fostering globally connected research and scholarship.

International Representations of GLS University
The university through its faculty and students have made notable representations across the world. The nature of the representations being visits, sponsoring or hosting events, exchange programmes etc. Following are some illustrations of such representations. Around 300 students have travelled internationally through GLS University for short term study tours (Immersion Programs) in the span of 5 years and around 50 students who have opted for study abroad under our Pathway program.

Days Celebration

To make academic journey more joyful every year, days are celebrated based on different themes, wherein students are encouraged to organize and manage the events which give them a chance to sharpen their leadership and team building skills. Unique themes are celebrated each year like Mismatch Day, Group Day, Indo-Western Day etc.
Blood Donation Camp

The goal of GLS is not only to groom managers of tomorrow, but also to sensitize students towards the needs of society. GLS thus, aims to make their students, socially responsible citizens. On this path, GLS organizes Blood Donation Camp every year in association with Indian Red Cross Society. This year it was organized by Faculty of Management for MBA & PGDM & courses. GLS proudly shares that students had extended their full co-operation in conducting this noble campaign and had volunteered to donate a total of 90 units of blood.
Visit to Kitchen Express 2019

To keep pace with recent advancement in education and to introduce students with the corporate working and give them insight of various departmental functions across different industries, 75 Students of I-MBA 4th Semester students were taken to Kitchen Express on January 4th, 2019 along with Dr. Neelam Purey and Prof. Chinmay Gandhi. Fulfilled objectives of industrial visit where they gained production process knowledge of food species industry, understood different packaging pattern and export norms and various crucial insights from Mr. Abhay Desai, Human Resource Manager. Students were also astonished by the size of the plant Kitchen express is making quality supremo products. Management of Kitchen express devoted more than 3 people for giving knowledge and also kept closed eye on all the required assistance. Students were delighted from the learning and outcome of the visit.
