Students of MBA ll,Semlll were taken to Gujarat High Court. Under this visit they were made to attend court rooms of well-known justice like Justice K.M.Thakkar for labour law, Justice B.N.Karia for property law, Justice Anant Dave and the Chief Justice Subhash Reddy.Students felt the actual discipline of the court room and also understood how the bare acts are citied used and referenced within the argument.In all, the court was adjourned at a happy note.

Students from I-MBA, VII Semester (HR Specialization) visited on 31st August 2018, DHFL Pramerica LIC, Ahmedabad Regional office to get the practical exposure & Industry’s insight about the Recruitment & Selection process. Mr. DhavalKamdar, Zone Head - HR & Mr. Ketan Shukla, Zone Head - Recruitment addressed the students about various activities and avenues related to the topic. Students interacted with the speakers about real time process, challenges and solutions and opportunities in the Human Resource.

Students of Faculty of Management, I-MBA, Semester VII under the subject Strategic Operations Management, and Semester III under the subject Production Management were taken to Havmor Ice-cream Ltd. on 27thJuly and 24th-25th October, 2018 respectively. The objective of the visit was to give the exposure to the students about the subject area. It was a great learning experience for students as they got an opportunity to see how the ice cream production takes place. The Havmor, Naroda Plant being the only plant in India, it was a surprising experience for students to see that how the ice cream gets delivered to various locations in India from just one single plant. The students could easily relate the concepts of Quality Check, Assembly Line, Packaging and Cold Storage Warehousing with the whole process of Havmor Ice-creams during the visit.

Learning while doing is what GLS follows religiously. For the same purpose, MBA Semester 3 students were taken to BSE office on 11th October, 2018. The visit was conducted in order to have practical understanding of stock market, its instruments and to know how live market works.
